AWAKEN PATRIOTS!

Americans all over the country are finally waking up to the problems in our nation which the Constitution Party has been proclaiming for years.

While many are voicing their concern in townhalls and "tea parties," the only real alternative Americans have to restore political power to the people is the Constitution Party.

We are the only party that WILL uphold the Constitution. The other parties have proven that they will not do so.

We stand for the principles of inherent individual rights upon which these united States of America were founded:

   * That each individual is endowed by his Creator with certain unalienable rights; that among these are the right to life, to liberty, to property and to use those rights in the pursuit of happiness;

   * That the freedom to own, use, exchange, control, protect, and freely dispose of property is a natural, necessary and inseparable extension of the individual's unalienable rights;

   * That the legitimate function of government is to secure these rights by establishing equal justice for all, insuring the domestic tranquility, providing for the common defense, promoting the general welfare (not any specific welfare), and securing the blessings of liberty, which can not be secured by separating God from government, because our liberties ARE a blessing from God;

   * That history makes clear that left unchecked, it is the nature of government to usurp the liberty of its citizens and eventually become a major violator of the people's rights; and

   * That, therefore, it is essential to bind government with the chains of the Constitution and carefully divide and jealously limit government powers to those assigned by the consent of the governed.

Help us bind government with the chains of the Constitution by electing men and women who will stand up for the Constitution!

There are two kinds of freedom: the right to do as you please, and the liberty to do as you ought.  The former leads to slavery, while the latter leads to liberty.

"The pursuit of happiness implies an inherent responsibility on the one doing the pursuing. Government should not guarantee anything except our protection and liberty as we pursue happiness." - T. Coleman
